My theme is large projects with simple designs on it. I have made for my theme a two large bowls and a large tea pot.
    For my tea pot it is 4 and a half inches tall and 4 inches wide. It has a large handle to support the weight and a long narrow spout. It is glazed shadow green inside and out. Another project I made was my bowl. I made it out of red clay so the colors are slightly different then it would have on normal clay. It is half dark blue and half orange and the size is 3.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide. Another of my bowl is very large, and it has a multitude of colors, it is glazed blue and a tomato red and has a size if 7 by 5 inches wide. 
   How I made my projects was for the teapot I made a large vase and the lid and the spout all together and bagged them so they would not dry differently.  For my large bowl is made out of red clay and so the glazes are different then they would normally and so the black ended up blue and the orange is a darker more brown orange. There is a lip on the outside of the bowl. For my last bowl it was large and I made it really carefully trying to make sure it did not get thrown off center. I had to make a wide base so it would be more if a bowl then a cylinder.
    In all if my projects I had to make them simple glazed to emphasize the size if the project. In my bowl I had small designs which makes the bowl look larger. If there was a lot of large designs and complex glazing then it would have distracted from the size of the projects. the bowl being only two colors and my teapot only being one color.
    My theme is the simplicity in which emphasizes the size and I think that they all tie together.
