This is my lidded project. It is 3.5 inches tall with 2.5 inches wide. It is rough feeling because the glaze separated. It is glazed blue and there is a butterfly and holes cut out of it to make a candle holder. It is glazed balk on the inside of the holes. One thing unlearned while making it was learning to carve out without completely cracking the walls in. An art element is the 3d effect the carving out has on the project.

This is my hand and wheel project. It is 4 inches tall by 3.5 across and it is a very smooth texture. It is glazed blue throughout the entire project. During this I learned how to pull up with porcelain without throwing it off center. An art element is the color where it is one solid color so it gives it a solid feeling.

This is my plate. It is one inch tall my 7.5 inches and it is a rough texture with the ripples made in the plate and it is glazed a tomato red. while making this plate I learned to make the middle of the plate even with the rest. the middle tends to rise up and the outside is thinner. An art element is the color, it is one solid color which gives the entire plate a solid feeling to it.

This is my set of three, they are about 1 inch tall and 7inches wide. they are glazed with the black vines with flowers and the middle one has a flower. I learned while making these was making them without cracking. Making plates is difficult because they tend to crack and I successfully made three without then cracking. An art element is the designs, they are nature representatives with the flowers and vines.

This is part of my theme. It is a bowl that is 3 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It is glazed half orange and half black. One thing I learned while making it was experimenting with colors, because it is red clay the colors ended differently like the orange isn't as orange and the black isn't that black.

This is part of my theme which is large projects with simple glazes. It is 4.5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. It is glazed the shadow green color. One thing I learned was making such a large project and making sure all the part dried at the same time so it would not crack. An art element is the size and the simple glaze really emphasizes the largeness of the teapot

This is part if my theme piece. It is 5 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It is large and has a rough texture due to the thin glazing. It is glazed blue and the tomato red. One thing I learned while making it was pulling a large project evenly without making it wobbly. Because my theme is large projects with simple glazing the solid colored glazing gives it a solid large feeling.

This is my lidded project. It is a teapot and it is small and is made with red clay and has a green lid and green inside and white glaze in the outside with writing carved into the side of it. A skill I learned was creating a spout that would fit and making sure all the the three peices, the lid spout and vase would all dry together so none of it would crack. One art element is the different colors, it has brown green and black which separates all the pieces.

This is a hand and wheel project. It is 4x4 inches, it is glazed clear but I used both red and white clay. I learned to use two different clay and not make them blend together and keep the colors seperate while making this. It is a contrasting art element because of the dark and white clay that creates two very different colors.

This is my multi wheel. It is glazed blue with black lettering that says birthday. While making this I learned how to put two things together when making then on the wheel and making sure to measure them so they are the right size. It is a very large art element, it being just under a foot tall.
